Everything I make is an attempt at capturing what I see with speed and accuracy. I am interested in the formal aspects of representational painting. Human interactions and specific personalities are represented by familial and appropriated objects. Translating my visual world through paint is a continuous act of visual discovery.
I earned my BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2011; I will receive my MFA from Northern Illinois University in 2014.
