One of the things I love most about painting glass is how it makes the familiar immediately unfamiliar and strange. Depicting transparency is not about the object itself; rather, it's about what is half-seen behind that object. A distorted, fragmented, unexpected look at reality – ambiguous yet specific, and clearly obscured.
